East Sea Dragon King – NetEnt

East Sea Dragon King is NetEnt's October submission. It is a Chinese-themed cascading slotter that with 5 reels, 3 rows, and cluster pays. Although the turn from typical paylines makes East Sea interesting everything else about the slot is pretty standard. East Sea Dragon King has a 96.23% RTP, a bet range of 0.10 to 200, expanding wilds, and re-spins. The slot machine does not skimp on payouts, however, as its max jackpot is $1,200,000. The combination of expanding wilds and cluster pays can also see player wagers increase by 6000x. The gameplay is fast but average. The grid sits before an underwater backdrop and features typical Chinese-themed symbols. The most interesting symbol is the Dragon King, which is also an expanding wild that takes over the entire reel.

Fruit Snap – Red Tiger Gaming

Fruit Snap is Red Tiger Gaming‘s new cascading clusterpay slot. The machine has an 8×8 grid, fruit-themed symbols, and a tiled backdrop. So as far as presentation goes it does not look stellar. The gameplay, however, is where Fruit Snap grabs its audience. Each of the eight reels is crowned with special fruit symbols that have been metered. So whenever a player matches a bunch of lemons, for instance, they fill up the lemon symbol meter. Once the meter is filled all the way up a fruit removal feature is triggered. It removes the symbol and pays the player a bonus. The bonuses differ from low to high-value symbols with the higher values providing a double win upgrade. Fruit Snap also has a 95.75% RTP, max jackpot of 70,000, 0.10 to 20 betting range, and a randomly activated Meter Bonus feature to keep gameplay exciting.

9 Masks of Fire – Microgaming

Microgaming utilizes an African theme for its 9 Masks of Fire Slot. 9 Masks has five reels, 20 total paylines, and a 95.24% RTP with wager range between 0.20 to 60. What sets 9 Masks apart is its wealth of special features that increase player edge and build up stake value. 9 Masks uses standard diamond wilds and a total of two scatters. Each scatter provides a different bonus element. The mask scatter fills up the jackpot meter to provide substantial payouts. The shield scatter provides 10 to 20 free spins. 9 Masks also has multipliers that increase player stake by either 2x or 3x.

Voodoo Gold – ELK

ELK‘s Voodoo Gold takes players to the swampland of Louisiana where a 6×4 grid provides over 4,000 paylines. Voodoo has a wager range of 0.20 to 100, 96.10% RTP, max jackpot of 500,000, wilds, exploding bombs, and scatters. What sets its apart is its avalanche feature. Already Voodoo will turn heads with a wealth of 4000 paylines, but the more a player wins the bigger the grid gets. Voodoo's grid can increase to 6×8 and increase paylines to a substantial 262,144. This also affects player wagers as they can increase to 5000x a stake.

Big Win 777 – Play'n GO

Play'n Go‘s Big Win embraces standard as its theme. Set to the backdrop of classic Vegas, Big Win features a 5×3 grid filled with classic slot symbols. On the whole Big Win is fairly simple. It has a meager 15 paylines, 96.50% RTP, 0.15 to 90 bet range, and a max jackpot of 90,000. Its features are typical fare with diamond wilds, free spins, and scatters. Where Big Win separates itself is its free games. Big Win alternates between the grid and a spin the wheel mini game that provides gameplay bonuses as well as straight payouts.
