Nina Reilly
Player Advocate & Responsible Gambling Specialist
Nina Reilly focuses on player protection, KYC fairness, and responsible gambling tools. With a background in consumer rights law, she examines what happens when something goes wrong — not just when a casino is winning your business.
About Nina
Nina Reilly is BestBonus.co.nz's Player Advocate. Nina holds a law degree with a specialisation in consumer protection and previously worked at a New Zealand consumer rights organisation handling financial services complaints. She joined the iGaming review industry to focus on what most reviewers skip: the moment a player wins, asks for a withdrawal, and discovers what a casino's terms actually mean in practice. Nina audits dormancy fee policies, KYC fairness (including how aggressively casinos demand documents after a win), self-exclusion tools, deposit limits, source-of-funds requirements, account closure clauses and dispute escalation paths. She maintains a running database of casinos that have closed accounts and confiscated balances without justification, and her verdicts give particular weight to operators that route disputes through external ADR providers (eCOGRA, IBAS, EGIS) rather than handling them internally. Nina is also responsible for our responsible gambling resource page and our ongoing audit of which NZ-facing casinos genuinely support deposit limits, time-outs and self-exclusion versus those that hide these tools behind support tickets.
How we use this expertise
Nina Reilly signs off on every casino review in their domain before it ranks on BestBonus.co.nz. Rankings cannot be bought — scores reflect live testing, operator T&Cs, and what NZ players can realistically withdraw after bonuses and wagering.
